Topic: Aligning Decisions With God’s Word
Introduction
Every decision we make shapes our future. As believers our choices should reflect God’s truth not our feelings or opinions. God’s Word is the safest and most reliable guide for every area of life. When we align our decisions with Scripture we walk in wisdom, clarity and blessing. The Bible is not just a book to read it is a lamp that shows us the right path and keeps us from making choices that lead to regret. A life built on God’s Word is a life built on a solid foundation.
Main Passage
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 NKJV
Four Vital Points
1. God’s Word Reveals What Is Right : The Bible clearly shows us what pleases God and what does not. When we follow Scripture we avoid confusion and walk in truth.
“The entrance of Your words gives light.” Psalm 119:130
2. God’s Word Protects Us From Wrong Choices : Many mistakes come from ignoring what the Bible teaches. When we let Scripture guide us we avoid traps and harmful decisions.
“How can a young man cleanse his way By taking heed according to Your word.” Psalm 119:9
3. God’s Word Gives Us Wisdom : The Bible gives understanding that goes beyond human knowledge. It teaches us how to think act and choose wisely in every situation.
“The testimony of the Lord is sure making wise the simple.” Psalm 19:7
4. God’s Word Confirms His Will : When a decision agrees with Scripture we can move forward with confidence. God never leads us in a direction that contradicts His Word.
“Forever O Lord Your word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89
Prayer : Lord Jesus help me align every decision with Your Word. Teach me to think according to Scripture and to choose what honours You. Give me wisdom understanding and clarity as I follow Your truth. Let Your Word guide my steps today. Amen.
Declaration : Today I align my decisions with God’s Word. His truth guides my thoughts my choices and my steps. I walk in wisdom because I follow His Word.

Father Lord, help us align our decision with your word as it’s reveals what is right that pleases God, our decision is being shaped through His word. Help us heed to your word so that, we may not make any wrong decisions that leads to regret and shame. Lord Jesus, please give us clarity, wisdom and understanding as we meditate on your word daily. Amen.
