Topic: Courage to Make Difficult Decisions
Introduction : Some decisions are easy but others require courage. Difficult choices often stretch our faith and test our trust in God. Sometimes doing what is right is uncomfortable and choosing God’s way may cost us something. But God gives strength to those who stand for truth. Courage does not mean we feel no fear. Courage means we obey God even when we feel afraid. When we rely on His strength we can make bold decisions that honour Him and lead us into His purpose.

“Be strong and of good courage do not be afraid nor be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NKJV
Four Vital Points
1. God Gives Courage to Those Who Trust Him : Courage grows when we remember that God is with us. We do not face hard decisions alone. His presence gives us confidence.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear” Psalm 27:1
2. Doing What Is Right Requires Boldness : Choosing the right path is not always popular but it is always rewarding. God honours those who stand for truth.
“The righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1
3. Fear Cannot Lead Us Into God’s Will : Fear pushes us backward but faith moves us forward. When fear rises we must choose to trust God more than our feelings.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
4. God Strengthens Us When the Decision Is Hard : When the choice feels heavy God gives supernatural strength. He empowers us to do what we cannot do on our own.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
Prayer : Lord Jesus give me courage to make the difficult decisions in my life. Help me choose what is right even when it is hard. Strengthen my heart remove fear and fill me with bold faith. Lead me by Your Spirit and help me honour You in every choice. Amen.
Declaration :Today I walk in courage. I choose what is right. I trust God’s strength and follow His leading. My decisions are bold wise and guided by the Holy Spirit.
