UPHILL DAILY DEVOTION
Day –83 March 24, 2026
Topic: Victory Over the Enemy
Introduction
Life is filled with battles—some seen and others unseen. As believers, we face opposition, temptation, fear, and spiritual attacks. However, God has not called us to live in defeat. Through Christ, we already have victory.
Victory over the enemy is not about our strength, but about standing firm in what God has already accomplished for us. When we trust in Him, walk in obedience, and rely on His power, we overcome every challenge the enemy brings our way.
Main Passage
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
— Romans 8:37
Four Vital Points
1. Victory Comes Through Christ
Our victory is not earned—it is given through Jesus Christ. He has already defeated sin, death, and the power of the enemy.
When we place our faith in Him, we stand in that victory daily.
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:57
2. The Battle Begins in the Mind
Many battles are won or lost in our thoughts. Fear, doubt, and negative thinking are tools the enemy uses to weaken us.
When we renew our minds with God’s Word, we gain strength and clarity to stand firm.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7
3. Resistance Brings Victory
Victory requires action. We must resist the enemy and stand firm in our faith. As we submit to God and refuse to give in to temptation, the enemy loses his hold over us.
“Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
— James 4:7
4. God’s Word Is Our Weapon
The Word of God is powerful and effective in every battle. Just as Jesus overcame temptation by speaking Scripture, we too must use God’s Word to stand against the enemy.
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper…”
— Isaiah 54:17
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for the victory I have in You. Help me to stand strong against every attack of the enemy. Strengthen my mind, increase my faith, and teach me to rely on Your Word daily. Give me the courage to resist and the confidence to walk in victory. Amen.
Declaration
Today I walk in victory. I am more than a conqueror through Christ. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I stand strong, resist the enemy, and live in the power of God’s promises.
